Interview in El Diario de Aysén: “This is my thing and here I stay”
An interview about how she came to enamel on copper and her bond with Aysén.
On 7 May 2010, the Mujer Austral section of El Diario de Aysén published an interview with Paz Schwencke, a regional artist working in enamel on copper.
She said she left the region to study, first started graphic design and then studied tourism, until she discovered the Viña del Mar School of Fine Arts and the technique of enamel on copper. She said her work is an abstraction of the region, with its colours and shapes, and that she hopes to hold a solo exhibition and continue her workshops for children and young people in the city.
