“Texturas y Matices de Aysén” on show at the Coyhaique Regional Library

In 2012, Paz Schwencke was awarded a Regional FONDART Creation project, in the Arts Promotion line, called “Texturas y Matices de Aysén”.

The project led to an exhibition of 10 large-format works (80 x 120 cm) in enamel on copper, opened on Monday 7 January 2013 at the Coyhaique Regional Library, where it remained open until 20 January.

At the opening she was accompanied by her teacher, master enamellist Olga Ruiz. The artist explained that the funding allowed her to work in a large format, unusual for this technique, to show the small details and colours of the region.
